EXCLUSIVE | Emraan Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwanthary reveal their 'first celebrity crush'

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who has won millions of hearts with his charismatic smile and charming personality over the years, is now all set to star in upcoming educational drama 'Why Cheat India' where he will be sharing screen space with debutante Shreya Dhanwanthary.

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who has won millions of hearts with his charismatic smile and charming personality over the years, is now all set to star in upcoming educational drama 'Why Cheat India' where he will be sharing screen space with debutante Shreya Dhanwanthary. The film, based on India's education system and its corresponding loopholes, has really got everyone intrigued.

Recently, in an exclusive interview with Republic TV, Emraan and Shreya answered a few fun rapid-fire questions and disclosed quite a few interesting details. The actors during the interactions revealed their 'first celebrity crushes'. 

While Emraan revealed that he had a huge crush on Hollywood actress Brooke Shields, the star who won actress Shreya Dhanwanthary's heart was none other than Canadian actor Keanu Reeves.

Emraan, who rose to fame with his 'Murder' film franchise, become a sensation following the same. The actor, who mostly portrays loverboy roles, is going to try something new with his character in the upcoming educational drama. He will be portrayed as a con-man in the film, who will be seen rigging examinations and forging certificates, exposing the loopholes of the Indian education system.

Shreya Dhanwanthary, who is known for her work in Telugu cinema, on the other hand, is going to mark her debut in Bollywood with the film. The actress will be playing the role of Emraan's love interest in the educational drama.

'Why Cheat India' is written and directed by Soumik Sen and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Emraan's wife Parveen Hashmi. The film which was originally titled 'Cheat India' got a name change just a week ahead of the release of the film.

Actor Emraan Hashmi took to Twitter and made the announcement. In a before-after format, he revealed that the title logo of the film is changed and the tagline 'Nakal Mein Hi Akal Hai' which was there in the initial poster has been removed. In fact, the actor added a 'WHY' to his name in the Twitter handle as now it reads, 'WHY Emraan Hashmi‏'
