We all know her as Cuckoo from the famous Netflix series 'Sacred Games'. Anchor turned actress Kubbra Sait has since become a sensation as her portrayal of a transgender won her a lot of praise. Now, the actress was recently seen at the famous literature fest called 'Spoken'.

We all know her as Cuckoo from the famous Netflix series 'Sacred Games'. Anchor turned actress Kubbra Sait has since become a sensation as her portrayal of a transgender won her a lot of praise. Now, the actress was recently seen at the famous literature fest called 'Spoken'.

The fest celebrates a culmination of poets, musicians and artists, that puts a spotlight on the most vibrant voices from across Indian and across the globe. The two-day fest features some of the most exciting performances and various art forums that celebrates the love for poetry, words and art. 

When asked about what attracts her to events like Spoken fest she said 'It is the tuning in as suppose to the tuning out, I was here last year, and I performed at the fest last year, and I am performing a piece this year too. Just to be able to sit, absorb, feel, experience the joy of people listening to you. I have barely seen any phones being used, and everybody is soaking things in' 

'This whole process happens very rarely, and I think it is a beautiful welcome change' she further added.

Kubbra Sait is known best for her role as Cuckoo in 'Sacred Games'. Starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles with Anurag Kashyap's direction, 'Sacred Games' Kubbra's role won hearts all over the country.

Her confidence to play such a complicated character with ease came with Kashyap's direction even though she was roped in at the very last minute. From what we know, one can say that the actress left no stone unturned in the preparation of her portrayal of 'Cuckoo' in the best manner possible for which she received much appreciation.

Currently, on the work front, Kubbra is next going to mark an appearance in Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' that stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film is all set to hit the theatres on February 14, 2019.
