"Providing a sense of comfort, a sense of relief, a sense of acknowledgement or a sense of truth through creativity is just freedom of speech which is a part of our constitution. So, I think with the kind of platforms that we have where it is available for you to see if you want to see. So if I am selecting something I want to see, where is the question of censorship? I am actually going to watch 'Sacred Games' and it says that it has language, nudity, violence, and still if I chose to click on it, it is my responsibility and not of the makers." she said in a statement.

Starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles with Anurag Kashyap's direction, 'Sacred Games' Kubbra's role won hearts all over the country.

Her confidence to play such a complicated character with ease came with Kashyap's direction even though she was roped in at the very last minute. From what we know, one can say that the actress left no stone unturned in the preparation of her portrayal of 'Cuckoo' in the best manner possible for which she received much appreciation. However, just like two sides of a coin, the actress was also heavily trolled online for her role.
