Dil Dhadakne Do is a romantic comedy-drama directed by Zoya Akhtar. The 2015-released film revolves around the story of a high society family. The Mehra family contemplate over their way of living and their love lives while on a cruise, celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. It has a huge star cast including Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Shefali Shah, Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra as the leads. Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra are seen as childhood buddies in love, but due to PC's father's denial, she gets married to a well-known businessman. The reunion of the duo during the anniversary vacation involves a twist in the film.

Priyanka and Farhan play a husband and wife's role in The Sky Is Pink. The family drama is directed by Sonali Bose. The story revolves around the life of Aisha Chaudhary, a teenager who was diagnosed with Pulmonary fibrosis. Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar are cast as Aisha's parents. The duo's chemistry was widely praised. The Sky Is Pink also stars Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf as Priyanka and Farhan's kids.
