Five movies where Sanjay Dutt played the role of a wicked Villain

Sanjay Dutt is soon going to be seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Panipat. The movie is bankrolled jointly by Sunita Gowarikar and Rohit Shelatkar. The plot of the movie is based on the third battle of Panipat, which took place on January 14, 1761. Panipat was the battle between the Marathas and the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon and Arjun Kapoor in pivotal roles. Panipat is going to hit the silver screens on December 5, 2019.  Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the role of the antagonist, Ahmad Shah Abdali in the movie. Khalnayak (1993)

Khalnayak is an action-thriller film produced and directed by Subhash Ghai. Sanjay Dutt plays the character of a villain in the movie. The story of the movie focuses on the arrest of criminal Ballu (Sanjay Dutt) by Inspector Ram and his girlfriend, officer Ganga and Ballu's subsequent attempt to escape. The roles of Ram and Ganga were essayed by Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit, respectively. This Sanjay Dutt starrer movie became the second highest-grossing film of the year in 1993. Apart from this, the song Choli Ke Peeche Kya hai of the movie became one of the biggest hits of the decade.

Vaastav: The Reality (1999)

Vaastav: The Reality is an action-crime film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The film has Sanjay Dutt and Namrata Shirodkar in lead roles. The plot of the movie is based on the life of gangster, Chhota Rajan. “The Reality” in the name of the film refers to the harsh reality of underworld life in Mumbai. The Sanjay Dutt starrer was the 14th highest-grossing movie of the decade and is considered as one of the most memorable onscreen movies of Hindi Cinema. Sanjay Dutt was appreciated a lot by both critics and audiences for his character Raghunath Namdev Shivalkar in the film.

Agneepath (2012)

Agneepath is a 2012 action-drama film helmed by Karan Malhotra. The movie was jointly produced by Hiroo Johar and Karan Johar. Sanjay Dutt was seen playing the negative role of Kancha Cheena, which was critically acclaimed. The plot of the movie revolved around the life of a young boy whose father is lynched before his eyes. Fifteen years later he returns to complete his revenge. The movie also starred Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in pivotal roles.

KGF Chapter 2 (2020)

Sanjay Dutt will be playing the role of Adheera, the main antagonist in KGF chapter 2. The director of the film, Prashanth Neel, shared a picture with Sanjay Dutt from the sets of the film. The filmmaker expressed his excitement at the beginning of the shoot of the film in Hyderabad. Sanjay Dutt's look as Adheera had broken the internet and fans could not stop praising his menacing look from the film. The film also stars Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles. The movie is going to be released on April 1, 2020.
