Frozen 2: Shruti Hassan to dub the character of Elsa in Tamil version

The animated film Frozen 2 is evidently gearing up for a wide release in India. The first installment of the Frozen series was a hit at the box office, both domestically and internationally. Shruti Hassan who predominantly features in Tamil films will be dubbing the voice of Elsa in the sequel of Frozen in its Tamil-dubbed version. The film is scheduled for November 22 release worldwide.

Shruti Hassan to voice Elsa in Tamil version of Frozen 2

Recently, while speaking to a news daily, Shruti Hassan opened up about her experience while dubbing the Tamil version of Frozen 2. The actor stated that she absolutely adores the first Frozen film. The bond shown between sisters Elsa and Anna in the film is purely heart-warming for her. She also added that she completely resonates with the elder sister Elsa's character's feelings towards the younger sister as she would do the same for her own little sister.

Shruti stated that Elsa is every girl's role model, and she feels elated to lend her voice for the character. Shruti reportedly will also sing three songs for the film. She noted that she is very happy to get the opportunity to sing for Elsa'scharacter. Shruti added that in addition to gripping and engaging stories, songs in animated films also hold a very special place in hearts of fans and that she is looking forward to presenting the sequel to the Tamil audience. Similarly, Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra will also be voicing the Hindi versions of Frozen 2. Nithya Menen will be voicing the Telugu version of Frozen 2.
