Bollywood is all set to introduce a fresh comic pair in the form of Govinda and Varun Sharma.  The makers of ‘FryDay’ recently released the trailer of the film helmed by Abhishek Dogra. The trailer begins with Varun Sharma imitating Amitabh Bachchan’s temple scene from the film ‘Deewar’. Varun Sharma argues with Lord Ganesha that when Amitabh Bachchan spoke in the same manner to Lord Shiva, he became a great hero, but he himself has not achieved anything significant in life.

Varun Sharma plays a failed salesman in the film, who is in a desperate attempt to sell a purifier. He comes to Govinda’s house, who is a smart customer. Govinda is cheating on his wife, who thinks that he is unique.  Varun Sharma poses as Govinda’s brother-in-law in a bid to sell the purifier, while Govinda is attempting to get rid of the salesman and hide his affair with his girlfriend. This leads to chaotic yet comical situations.

The dialogues written by Manurishi Chadha promise an absolute laugh riot. Good writing combined with dialogue delivery by Govinda and Varun Sharma are sure to cackle up the audience.

Govinda is known for his brilliant comic timing, while Varun Sharma who is comparatively new to the industry rose to popularity with his comic role ‘Choocha’ from ‘Fukrey’ and ‘Fukrey returns’.  The trailer has some hilarious lines to look out for like, “abe kebab mai haddi, cheddo waali chaddi, jabse aaya hai tabse insult hi kar raha hu” and Govinda even ends up making fun of him not winning a National Film award till date.

Taking to Instagram, actor Govinda wrote, "Sach se 100% dur, inke na taal mile na sur... milye is jija-saale ki jodi se jo aapko karenge hasne par majboor."

Along with Govinda and Varun Sharma, the film also boasts of talents like Brijendra Kala, Rajesh Sharma and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles. The film produced by Sajid Qureshi is slated to release on October 12.
