Abhishek Bachchan decodes his character in Ghoomer

To Pinkvilla, Abhishek Bachchan revealed that the concept of Ghoomer had undergone changes over time. He shared that Director R Balki initially presented a concept that was different from the final storyline, but the intriguing aspect for the actor was his character. He shared that he found Paddy to be a paradoxical figure, someone who harbored deep sensitivity despite displaying a contrasting exterior.

He added that Paddy's unique trait of expressing his emotions in a contradictory manner captivated him. He also said that the character's sharp tongue, bitterness and overall unpleasant demeanor stem from a profound love for his role as a coach.

"This film has kind of evolved with time. Balki had discussed a concept with me which was slightly different from the eventual concept of Ghoomer. I mean we knew the basic storyline but I think the great hook for me was the character. I like the certain contradiction in Paddy," he said.
