Good Newwz: Akshay Kumar tells Kapil Sharma 'kamaal kar diya' after latter's reply to film

Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan know what it’s like to have a ‘Good Newwz’ in their life. The former is a father to two children, while the latter is a mother to a son. And now they are all set to experience the feeling once again, together, but only in reel life as they play an expectant couple in Good Newwz. While the couple,  along with Kiara Advani-Diljit Dosanjh gear up for the ‘arrival’, there is someone who is also having butterflies in his stomach, but for real. Kapil Sharma was excited with the latest posters of the movie, and quipped that his 'Good Newwz' is all set to arrive before the quartet’s Good Newwz. Akshay expressed his delight at Kapil’s revelation about expecting a baby soon and conveyed his heartiest congratulations.

The first posters of Good Newwz made headlines on Thursday, for its quirkiness, with Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh looking worried between the baby bumps of the delighted mothers-to-be Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani, while calling it the ‘biggest goof-up of the year’. Kapil Sharma, who is expecting his first baby with wife Ginni Chatrath, related to it and wrote, “Congratulations paji .. poster is looking very nice, but my good news is coming before ur good news  hahahaha, all the best team #GoodNews.” Akshay was excited after reading Kapil’s tweet and didn’t leave out the chance to use some wordplay, writing, “Kamaal kar diya Sharma ji Heartiest congratulations on your #GoodNewwz! Big hug.”

Kapil’s wife Ginni had celebrated her baby shower last month. The couple had got married on December 12, last year. The wedding had come as a breath of fresh air for the actor-comedian, after bouncing back from controversies on the professional front.

As far as Good Newwz is concerned, Akshay had earlier shared the posters with the lines like, “'Squeezing' in some #GoodNewwz for you this #Christmas season. Stay tuned, the biggest goof-up of the year is coming!” and “There’s always someone who ends up with the same #Christmas present as you!” since the movie releases on December 27. The film has been produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, Zee Studios and is directed by Raj Mehta.
