Bollywood actor Abhay Deol, who was last seen in Mudassar Aziz's 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' (2016) which starred Diana Penty in the lead, is back after two years with a horror-comedy flick 'Nanu Ki Jaanu'. Abhay has been paired opposite 'Citylights' actress Patralekha for the first time in the film. In an exclusive interview with Republic TV, Abhay Deol opened up on why he was away from Bollywood films. The actor said, ''It is not that I do it purposely. It is hard to find work if you don't go by the industry's formula. Hence it is hard to find the work you want to do then it becomes difficult to give your fan base what you have been giving them.''

He further stated,

''As an actor, you have to keep raising the bar. And in this past one year, I have shot for 5 movies and will shoot for 2 or 3 movies this year. I see myself saying yes to scripts more often than saying no. There is a lot more variety or talent that is being allowed to enter the industry and Bollywood is being supportive to them so hopefully, you won't see as many gaps like in the past 10 years.''
