Sonakshi Sinha is best known for her appearances in the Dabangg movie series. She made her Bollywood debut with the first installment of the Dabangg franchise back in 2010. From fat to fit: A love-hate relationship with the gym

It has been widely reported that Sonakshi Sinha has been through some of the most intense fitness regimes. Before signing Dabangg, her first movie opposite Salman Khan, she lost 30 kilograms of weight. In an interview, Sonakshi said that she shed weight to share the silver screen with Salman Khan. She very casually also added that even if it had not been Dabangg, she would have gone through gruelling workouts and lost the 30 kilos.

Sonakshi Sinha was able to lose 30 kgs due to a particular diet routine that she still follows. For Sonakshi, it was a balance between high proteins and low carbohydrate diet that did the job. Initially, it was difficult for her to follow the food, but her social media is proof of what she has achieved by following it. Sonakshi Sinha is very keen when it comes to testing all the proven methods of weight-loss.

Sonakshi Sinha has made a habit of beginning her day with the concoction of honey, lemon juice and warm water. Her breakfast is inclusive of one bowl of cereals with low-fat milk, and on certain occasions, she has a breakfast of one homemade whole-wheat toast and fresh fruit salad. Like every other Bollywood actor, Sonakshi Sinha also loves homemade food and usually has roti, sabzi, daal and fresh salad for lunch. Sonakshi generally avoids eating carbs after 6 pm and thus has a dinner of daal with mixed vegetables and a piece of chicken or grilled fish.

Sonakshi Sinha’s workout regimes

Sonakshi Sinha has been working out under the mentorship of the celebrity fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala. Yasmin is known for training Bollywood celebrities like Katrina Kaif and Vaani Kapoor. She is also responsible for creating a balance between Sonakshi Sinha’s workouts and diet. Yasmin had to strike a balance between Sonakshi’s workout and diet because Sonakshi hates to visit the gym, and on the contrary, loves munching now and then.
