Aamir Khan has always been an ardent admirer of Amitabh Bachchan and when it comes to sharing screen space with Big B, even Mr Perfectionist got nervous. Aamir is working with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in his upcoming 'Thugs Of Hindostan' which also features Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in leading roles.

At a recent event, Aamir spoke about his fanboy moment with none other than Amitabh Bachchan which made him speechless and forget his lines.

"I have been a huge, huge fan of Mr Bachchan all along. The first day of rehearsals, when we were sitting and reading scenes together, it was a fanboy moment for me."

He further added,

"I couldn't speak properly, I couldn't remember my lines, I was going all over the place. It has been a real joy for me every day that I have sat next to him while we were shooting."

'Thugs Of Hindostan' is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel 'Confessions of a Thug' and is inspired by the thug culture of the 19th century. Helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, this much-awaited film is slated to release on November 7.  When asked about the film the actor said,

"Just two months are left for my film, and I am already nervous. After I did '3 Idiots', I got a solution which helps you in little ways... Put your right hand on your heart and say, 'All is well'."

Aamir also revealed that he considers himself as a learner with a curious mind, “I see myself as someone who is trying to learn. Each film I try to do, whether I do a film, do something for Paani Foundation or Satyameva Jayate (TV show), it is a journey for me." He further added, "I am a student of whatever I am dealing with and everything is new to me."

Rumours were rife that Aamir's upcoming 'Thugs Of Hindostan' is inspired from the successful Hollywood franchise 'Pirates Of The Caribbean'. However, Aamir cleared the air and said that their film does not bear similarity to any other film. He said,

"There are some hundreds of action-adventure films. There is, there is Indiana Jones and many others. The genre of our film is action-adventure but the story is different. Even my character in the film is not similar to any other character."

Meanwhile, Aamir's fans are eagerly waiting for his action-adventure film 'Thugs Of Hindostan' which will hit screens this Diwali.
