Actor Ali Fazal has made a name for himself by starring in numerous web shows and movies. In his decade-long career, Ali Fazal has worked in Hollywood and Bollywood movies and has emerged as a talent to eagerly watch out for. Ali Fazal was recently seen in the situational comedy, House Arrest, in which he co-stars with Shriya Pilgaonkar. The original movie began streaming on Netflix on November 15, 2019.

1. Joy Lobo from 3 Idiots (2009)

3 Idiots is one of the biggest box-office successes of the last 10 years. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial starred Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles and was based on education system of Indian engineering institutes. The film was Ali Fazal's debut role in Bollywood, and he played the small but memorable role of Joy Lobo. The popular song, Give Me Some Sunshine, was picturised on Ali's role and he became famous because of the role.

2. Zafar from Fukrey (2013)

Besides 3 Idiots, the Fukrey series is another box-office success story in Ali Fazal's career. In Fukrey (2013) and its sequel, Fukrey Returns (2017), Ali Fazal played the role of Zafar. He is the quiet guy of the group in the film, which also features actors Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh and Varun Sharma. The films also starred Rich Chadha, who is in a relationship with Ali Fazal in real life.

3. Guddu from Mirzapur (2018)

Mirzapur is Amazon Prime's third Indian original and is produced by Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment. It revolves around drugs, guns, lawlessness and the mafia in the Uttar Pradesh city of Mirzapur. The show features an ensemble cast of Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Divyendu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi and Shriya Pilgaonkar. Ali Fazal plays the role of Guddu in the show, and he became instantly popular with viewers.
