With three releases back to back this Diwali, the viewers have got a treat. They have the option of choosing between three big films- Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar's Saand Ki Aankh and Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy's Made In China. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer comedy opened with around 19 crores on the first day of its release. Akshay Kumar's film Housefull 4 is reportedly considered to be the second-biggest comedy film after Rohit Shetty’s Diwali release- Golmaal Again in 2017. Housefull 4, starring a power-packed cast of Akshay Kumar, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh and many more, hit the theatres on October 25. According to Taran Adarsh's tweet, Housefull 4 amassed Rs. 18.85 crores on the first day, surpassing Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar’s film Saand Ki Aaankh that reportedly collected around Rs. 50 lakhs on Friday. Fans have shared their views about Housefull 4's box office stats in the comments section. One of them wrote that if the film works at this pace, it will definitely enter the Rs 200 crores club.
