Hrithik Roshan: His take on the price one has to pay for stardom

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has enjoyed great success with several hit movies in his kitty like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Dhoom 2, Super 30, Koi Mil Gaya and also his latest release War. Hrithik Roshan made his acting debut with the movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai in the year 2000 and since then, he has faced several highs and lows in his career. The actor believes that stardom comes with a small price to pay.

In a recent interview with a reputed news portal, Hrithik Roshan was asked if stardom comes with a price tag. The actor tackled the question saying that the price one has to bear is social responsibility. He believes that actors have to account for things that they say and have to sacrifice a little of their privacy. Hrithik Roshan also went on to add that it is a small price because according to him, stardom can be used for good things. There is a lot to gain and lose, so he has no reasons to complain about it.

In the same interview, he was asked how he copes with all the attention that comes his way. Hrithik Roshan replied that he takes every situation as an opportunity. It is not possible for him to fight what is happening around him, so he gears up and takes control. When one can control whatever is happening, they become stronger and a better person, he added.

In his 19-year running career span, the actor has given several blockbuster hits and is currently basking in the success of War. Hrithik Roshan is also seen experimenting with content, his role of a mathematics genius in Anand Kumar’s Super 30 is a testimony to that. He commented on his experimentation, that change is in the way content has been perceived now. The content is becoming more real and people are connecting to it. The melodrama phase of Bollywood is gone, according to the War actor and the acting has become very real. This change has made the content seem more solid and he is very happy with it.
