IIFA 2019: Vicky Kaushal, Aditi Rao Hydari are Best Supporting Actors

The 20th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards is taking place in India, for the first time on Wednesday, September 18.

The 20th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards is taking place in India, for the first time on Wednesday, September 18. The 'homecoming edition' which marks IIFA's return to the country kickstarted in Mumbai on September 16 with IIFA Rocks, the sidebar event which celebrates the work of people behind the films. On 18 September, the main awards night is organized in Mumbai where the popular categories, including Best Film, Best Actor and direction awards will be handed out.

While Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh won the Performance in a Leading Role Male and Female, and 'Raazi' bagged the award for the 'Best Film', Vicky Kaushal and Aditi Rao Hydari won the awards for Performance in a Supporting Role Male and Female. While Vicky won the award for his performance in 'Sanju', Aditi Rao Hydari bagged it for her stunning appearance in 'Padmaavat'.

IIFA 2019

The star-studded night hosted by Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurrana witness a number of stellar appearances, including that of Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh,  Alia Bhatt, among others. In fact, several celebrities including Sara Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Katrina Kaif, among others, graced the stage to deliver some stellar performances.
