The John Abraham-starrer Pagalpanti is set to hit theatres across the country on November 22, 2019. The film is written and directed by Anees Bazmee, who has earlier helmed films like Welcome (2007) and Ready (2010). Pagalpanti will also star Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Kriti Kharbanda, Ileana D’Cruz, Urvashi Rautela, and Pulkit Samrat, among others. It is co-produced by Abhishek Pathak and Kumar Mangat Pathak. The plot of the film revolves around a group of tourists who set out on a vacation but end up in a situation where they have to accomplish a mission. 

Ileana's role a 'blink and miss' in Pagalpanti?

However, it is widely speculated that Ileana D’Cruz will have a blink-and-miss role in the film instead of a significant one. The Barfi! actor recently posted a video with Anil Kapoor and director Anees Bazmee. She had worked with the duo in Mubarakan as well. The video marked the film's two-year anniversary as the actors were seen talking about being together in Hyderabad after two years

Why was the Pagalpanti release date pushed?

Pagalpanti was earlier supposed to release on November 8th, 2019. However, the date was shifted to give Milap Zaveri’s film Marjaavaan a solo release. One of the actors in the film, Pulkit Samrat, recently shared a ‘Behind The Scenes’ picture on his official social media handle. In the picture, Samrat is seen showering his love upon his co-star Arshad Warsi. He posted the picture to wish Warsi on his birthday.
