IN PICTURES | PM Modi Attends Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra’s Reception In New Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the wedding reception of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas in Delhi on Tuesday, 4 December. PM congratulated the couple and posed for pictures with the newlyweds.

He was also seen sharing a light-hearted moment with the bride and groom. PM gifted the couple a rose each, which we see in the newlyweds' hands. Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra, Nick’s parents, Denise Jonas and Paul Kevin Sr, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner also arrived on the stage to greet the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister had earlier also made an appearance at another celebrity couple’s reception - Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on 22 December last year.

Priyanka and Nick got married according to Christian and Hindu customs at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur on December 1 and 2. The couple shared photographs from their wedding earlier in the day, from both the rituals. Apart from the pictures, videos from the event also surfaced and it went viral immediately. Some of the moments that stood out in them were Peecee's stunning outfit and the long veil, the couple being guided to the altar by their mothers and their kiss.

 'Nickyanka' are also set to host a reception for the Bollywood fraternity in mid-December.
