J.cole: The Dreamville founder had some beautiful words about his fellow rap artists

The North Carolina-based rapper, J.Cole, recently announced his upcoming album The Fall Off while performing at Day N Vegas. The rapper is known for lyrical wordplay and fans think he seems to have taken the throne of the most influential artist in the Hip-Hop industry. He founded the record label Dreamville with his Sudanese-American manager Ibrahim Hamad. The label is currently distributed through Interscope Records, a unit of Universal Music Group. The rapper appreciates a lot of artists from the current music game like Kendrick Lamar and J.I.D. J.I.D

J.cole says that getting J.I.D on his music label Dreamville was certainly the most beneficial thing because of his commendable wordplay that was proven when his debut album. The Never Story managed to earn a position in the top 10 albums of 2017. The North Carolina-based rapper reportedly says the thing that solidified the signing was when he saw J.I.D’s work ethic and his hunger. He says a lot of people want it, but they are not willing to put in the work. He’s not one of those people. His potential is his GOAT status.

Kendrick Lamar

A lot of people have been arguing about the potential of the two leading rappers of this decade. The two reportedly met at a recording studio in order to talk over their collaboration, but there has been nothing officially planned yet. J.Cole says that he had a word with Kanye West in order to have a collaborative album with the Compton MC, Kendrick Lamar. The two have previously worked together on a single called Black Friday
