There have been many lines in Hindi films that enjoy a cult following. One of them is Amitabh Bachchan talking about ‘Mera baap chor hai’ being written on his forearm in Deewaar. The line has been a part of gags for over four decades now, but it still doesn’t lose his iconic status even today. Jaaved Jaaferi too has been known for his sense of humour for decades, but he too needed the iconic dialogue to crack an Avengers-inspired PJ recently. The actor quipped that Thor’s son would be thrown out of Asgard for writing 'Mera baap Thor hai' on his forearm. Even netizens had some hilarious reactions and brilliant wordplay to respond to the joke.

Be it the game of Chor-Police or the idiom 'Chor ki daadi mein tinka' or terms like Chindi Chor, netizens used it according to this situation.

A user wrote that Chor might have become Thor due to the tattoo artist’s lisp.

One quipped over the tweet being made at 3am, and another wrote how only Jaaved Jaaferi’s ‘famous humours mind’ could come up with this.
