Jacqueline Fernandez to star opposite John Abraham in Attack

John Abraham was last seen in the critically acclaimed  Batla House. The film was based on the famous Batla House encounter and its aftermath. He is currently also gearing up for his third release in 2019, Pagalpanti.

Will Jacqueline Fernandez star in John Abraham’s next, Attack?

Earlier, John Abraham had announced his new film, Attack, with director Lakshya Raj Anand on his social media handle. The film will be based on true events. It reportedly has a patriotic angle to it and will be a high-adrenaline-pumping thriller. John’s production company, John Abraham Entertainment, has signed the director for a long-term association.

The film is currently in its pre-production stage. Reports suggest that the makers have roped in Jacqueline Fernandez for the female lead in Attack. Jacqueline’s role will be packed with action stunts as well. When she was told the plot of Attack, she immediately gave a green light to the makers.

The makers of Attack wanted to reportedly cast an established face with a knack for athletics. Hence they zeroed on Jacqueline Fernandez. One of the major highlights in the film will be the actor’s stunts.

According to the post that John Abraham put up, Attack will go on floors by December 2019. Jacqueline will join the cast by January 2020. John Abraham has Pagalpanti and another film lined up, hence the shoot has been postponed to the year end.

On the other hand, Jacqueline Fernandez’s next, Drive, is all set to release soon. The action thriller will be available on the OTT platform Netflix from November 1, 2019. The film, co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput, will see both the actors in an action role.

John Abraham is all set to return to his comic avatar with Anees Bazmee’s Pagalpanti. The film has an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz, Kriti Kharbanda, and Arshad Warsi along with John Abraham. The film will release on November 22, 2019.
