Jawaani Jaaneman: Debutante Alaia's experience with the film

As we have witnessed new generation celebrities like Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan are ready to take over the silver screen, Alaia F. is no different. She is all set to step into Bollywood with a bang. Kick-starting her career with Jawaani Jaaneman, Alaia is yet another newcomer who grabbed our attention posing with Saif Ali Khan in an Instagram post. 

Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia Furniturewala is reportedly all geared up for her Bollywood debut alongside Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Jawaani Jaaneman also stars Tabu in a pivotal character. This romantic-comedy-drama is all set to hit the screens on November 29, 2019. 

Who is Alaia F.?

Graduate from the prestigious New York Film Academy, Alaia is not an unknown face. She is the granddaughter of the renowned Indian actor, Kabir Bedi and daughter of Bollywood actor and television show host, Pooja Bedi. Pooja Bedi is known for her role in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.

Before the film's shooting began

Alaia Furniturewala expressed gratitude to her trainers before leaving for London. In an Instagram post, Alaia captioned a thank you note on a picture of herself with her acting and dance trainers. According to sources, Jawaani Jaaneman’s shooting started on June 26, 2019. In an interview with a national daily, she spoke about her preparations. She also mentioned that she loves to over-prepare and hence had left for London a week before the film shooting started.

Feeling the London-vibes

The debutante’s mother, Pooja Bedi, tweeted a picture of her daughter alongside co-star Saif Ali Khan from the India-Pakistan match at the ICC World Cup 2019. Amidst getting into the character and indulging in London, Alaia reportedly made the most of her opportunity by witnessing India-Pakistan match on June 16, 2019.

As Saif Ali Khan’s on-screen daughter, Alaia, completed the shooting for Jawaani Jaaneman, she posted about it on her Instagram. 

 

Jawaani Jaaneman is produced by Saif Ali Khan under the banner of Black Knight Films in collaboration with Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment, and Jay Shewakramani’s Northern Lights Films.
