Jawaani Jaaneman actor Alaia's debut film and life before Bollywood

Alaia Furniturewala is an Indian model and actress who is making her Bollywood debut with the upcoming film Jawaani Jaaneman. She is the daughter of former Bollywood actress Pooja Bedi and Farhan Furniturewala.

Alaia Furniturewala – Life before Bollywood

Alaia Furniturewala received mainstream attention when she first participated in a beauty contest with her mother, Pooja Bedi in a reality show called Maa Exchange on Sony Entertainment Television. Both of them have also featured once on the cover of a leading fashion magazine.

Alaia has garnered a huge following ever since she appeared on the TV show and is already quite the celebrity. The 21-year-old star kid is all set to have more films lined up for her in the future following Jawaani Jaaneman. Producer Jay Shewakramani of Northern Lights Films has been quick enough to offer Alaia Furniturewalla a three-movie deal after seeing some of her stills in the upcoming movie which also stars Saif Ali Khan.

Jawaani Jaaneman: Plot, cast and release date

Jawaani Jaaneman is a coming-of-age story of a father and his daughter. In the movie, Saif Ali Khan will be seen portraying the role of a 40-year-old and Alaia Furniturewala will play the role of his daughter. The film will be a comical take on how a man confronts the harsh realities of his life.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Jawaani Jaaneman is a rom-com drama, which also stars Tabu in the lead. The film will release on November 29 this year.
