'Junglee' Makers Release Breathtaking Pictures From The Sets Of The Vidyut Jammwal Starrer

The makers of 'Junglee' have released the first look of the film with some breathtaking pictures of Vidyut Jammwal

'Baadshaho' actor Vidyut Jammwal is all set to star in 'Junglee' and the makers of the film have released some glimpses from the Chuck Russell directorial. The story of the film encapsulates a heartwarming relationship between man and elephants. Vidyut Jammwal will be essaying the role of a vet named Ashwath who attempts to unravel and fight an international poacher’s racket in an elephant reserve. Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share pictures from the film. He tweeted, "12 Aug 2018: #WorldElephantDay... Some pics and behind the scene footage from #Junglee... Stars Vidyut Jammwal... Produced by Junglee Pictures... Directed by Chuck Russell... 5 April 2019 release."

Earlier in March, Vidyut Jammwal had taken to Twitter to share a still from the film. He had posted, "With animals,just look into their eyes,if you see a living being ,a friend & a free soul-they will respond..TRY THIS AT HOME."

The director of the action-adventure thriller Chuck Russell is best known for his work in Hollywood films like 'Eraser', 'The Mask', 'The Scorpion King' and 'A Nightmare' on 'Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors'. Earlier, talking about 'Junglee' the American filmmaker reportedly said that he is certainly feeling a fair amount of pressure while making the film since it is a representation of India. Chuck Russell further went on to add that he has been to India four times in the past five years and has wanted to tell stories with an international reach for a very long time. Russell also revealed that the international success of his directorial 'The Mask' starring Jim Carrey was proof that a mix of the action and comedy genre could cross boundaries. Further, in praise of Vidyut, the filmmaker reportedly said that when he had two scripts set in India in the making, he was keen on exploring new talent and was floored by the actor's skill and the fact that he blended perfectly well with the filmmaker's style. Russell promises that they have taken Vidyut's acting prowess to another level in 'Junglee'. 

Earlier this month, Junglee Pictures shared a video of Vidyut Jammwal performing a form of martial arts called 'Kalaripayattu' and captioned the video saying, "DO NOT try this at home or even outside! We're excited to kick-start the adventurous journey of our next film 'Junglee' starring Vidyut Jammwal! #BeJunglee."

'Junglee' is slated to hit screens on April 5, 2019.
