Kajal Aggarwal opens up on discomfort with intimate scenes, skin show

The Indian film industry has grown by leaps and bounds as far as intimacy in films is concerned. From showing two flowers and using camera tricks, today kissing scenes are much more common. While some of the lesser-known stars or newcomers would feature in films that needed to show intimacy, of late even some of the big stars have performed kissing scenes and posed in a swimsuit. At the same time, there are those who have maintained a strict policy for themselves in this regard, and never compromised on it. One of the stars in this category has been Kajal Aggarwal. The actor states that she finds it uncomfortable to perform intimate scenes with someone not known to her, and that it is just not ‘her job.’ The Paris Paris star also shared that the only time she agreed for intimate scenes was when she was playing a blind girl, as she couldn’t express her intimate feelings through her eyes.

Kajal Aggarwal recently appeared on the Telugu version of chat show Feet Up with the Stars, that is hosted by Lakshmi Manchu. When asked about her stance towards intimate scenes, she replied, “I have done Do Lafzon Ki Kahani where there was an intimate moment. Usually, you can give expressions to show love by looking into your partners’ eyes or make some other gesture. But as I was playing the role of a blind girl, the scenes demanded intimate moves.”  

She added, “I was uncomfortable because you have to express such feelings to someone who you don't know and don't have any such feeling for. I'm not sure about others but even today, any kind of intimate scenes or skin show is not my kind of job.”

Before Kajal, many other actors had also featured on The Feet up with the Stars like Shruti Haasan, Rakul Preet Singh and Nidhhi Agerwal. Several quotes of these actors on the show about exes, rumoured lovers had gone viral then. The one Bollywood stars feature on was hosted by Anaita Adajania Shroff.

Professional front 

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kajal featured in three films this year already. First was Telugu movie Sita opposite Bellamkonda Sreenivas.  The actor then featured in Ranarangam opposite Sharwanand. This was followed by Comali opposite Jayam Ravi. She is currently shooting for Indian 2 opposite  Kamal Haasan and Paris Paris, the remake of Queen is also gearing up for release soon.
