Kajol’s look in Tanhaji is eerily similar to her own wedding day look

The trailer of the much-awaited film, Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior will finally be unveiled tomorrow, i.e. November 19, and before that, the look of Kajol as Savitribai Malusare was revealed by the makers of the film. Ajay Devgn, as well as Kajol, took to their social media to share the look where the actor can be seen in a Maharashtrian get-up. In the look, Kajol can be seen draped in a red saree while sporting a Maharashtrian nath and beaded jewelry. The red bindi on her forehead further complimented the look. But this was not the only thing which made her look special.

Kajol's look from the film resembled her wedding look

Fans could not help but notice that her look from the film had an uncanny resemblance to her own wedding look with Ajay Devgn from the year 1999. In her wedding look, the actor looked like every bit of a beautiful Maharashtrian bride. Fans started comparing her look with that of her wedding get-up. It is all the more special because the Dilwale actor will be essaying this iconic Maharashtrian actor which will also mark her husband, Ajay Devgn's 100th film in the Bollywood film industry. The fans have positively received her look from the film on social media. 

The movie is directed by Om Raut

Ajay had kept the excitement of the fans alive by sharing some lovely posters from the film. He will be essaying the titular role of Taanaji Malusare in the movie. The movie will depict the inspiring story of the unsung warrior who fought bravely alongside Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj. Saif Ali Khan will also be essaying the role of an antagonist in the film. He will be playing Uday Bhan, a Rajput official who will be working for Emperor Aurangzeb. The film will be directed by Om Raut. Ajay and Saif had shared the screen space last in the movie Omkara which released in the ear 2006. The film, Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior will be releasing on January 10, 2020.
