Kangana Ranaut praised by Tigmanshu Dhulia as the best actor in India

Paan Singh Tomar fame director Tigmanshu Dhulia hails Kangana Ranaut as the best female actor in our country. He is a talented filmmaker who recognises and appreciates a great work of art. In a recent interaction, he said that actor Kangana Ranaut is truly magic onscreen.

Tigmanshu Dhulia went on to compare Kangana to veteran actor Waheeda Rehman. He praised Waheeda Rehman for her acting skills by lauding her as a great actor. However, he thought that the variety of roles and the intensity of character that Kangana Ranaut brings onscreen is unmatched in Indian cinema. In fact, actor Waheeda Rehman had congratulated Kangana, for her acting and direction, on the release of her film, Manikarnika earlier this year.

The period drama was based on the life and struggles of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi. It was set in mid 19th century India when the rebellion for independence from the British rule was at its peak. Kangana Ranaut essayed the role of Rani Lakshmibai, and the film also had actors Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongpa, Jisshu Sengupta and Ankita Lokhande in pivotal roles.

Tigmanshu Dhulia is an actor himself with roles in films like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster(2011), Gangs of Wasseypur(2012), Zero(2018) among others. He is also a producer and a screenwriter. His expertise and knowledge of various film making aspects guarantee the words when he states that Kangana Ranaut is the best actor in Indian cinema.

What's next for Kangana Ranaut?

On the work front, after the release of Manikarnika this year, Kangana will feature in Ashwini Iyer Tiwari's Panga. the movie is based on the story of a National-level kabaddi player. which is slated to release on January 24, 2020. She will be essaying the role of a Kabbadi player alongside Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi and Neena Gupta.

She will also be seen in Razneesh Ghai's Dhaakad opposite Mimoh Chakravarty. Her much-anticipated film is the Jayalalitha biopic Thalaivi directed by Telugu director A.L Vijay. The actor is already in the news for the meticulous preparation for this role.
