Karan Johar Took Tips From 'Baahubali' Director SS Rajamouli for 'Takht'

Earlier, in the day, Karan Johar took to Instagram to make an announcement of the upcoming war epic 'Takht'. The movie is said to star Bollywood's most eminent stars such as Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. Earlier, there were speculations that Karan Johar was going to cast Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor in his next directorial but there was no official announcement until now. 

Previously, during the trailer launch when asked about why he was just producing the movie and not directing the blockbuster movie, 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion', director Karan Johar stated that he is taking tips from director SS Rajamouli and will soon come up with his own 'epic' and lo behold! the movie is here. At the event, Johar was appointed to host the trailer launch as he was producing the movie. But, soon, after that, he had also acquired the Hindi rights for the movie and thanked the director for his unmanageable vision.

Taking to Twitter Karan Johar and all the other Bollywood celebrities starring in the movie posted an official announcement of the war epic 'Takht'. This will be the first time that the well-known director will be trying his luck at directing an epic, and the audience is eagerly waiting to see the way the movie will turn out- if it will be a blockbuster or will bomb at the box -office. But, ever since the announcement of the movie, the hashtag '#Takht' has been trending on Twitter.

Karan Johar last directed the film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. So, as confirmed during the media interaction, can we say that he has learned all his tips from the director SS Rajamouli, and produced his very own war epic? Well, for that we have to wait till the movie releases to see if could match up to the blockbusters series of 'Baahubali: The Beginning' and 'Baahubali2: The Conclusion'.
