Karan Johar's Congratulatory Tweet On Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh's Wedding Is Something All Singles Can Relate To

Following the Sindhi wedding on Thursday, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone released the first pictures from their wedding with identical social media posts. Filmmaker Karan Johar reacted took to Twitter and reacted to the same.

The much-anticipated Bollywood wedding of the 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela' stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone took place on Wednesday and Thursday, November 14 and 15 at Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy. Keeping up with both the cultures, the celebrity couple got hit hitched twice- one time in the traditional Konkani style and a day after that in traditional Sindhi style. 

Following the Sindhi wedding on Thursday, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh posted their first official pictures as a couple with identical captions. As the wedding was a private ceremony and kept much under wraps, fans were eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of the newlywed. In just minutes, the pictures received over thousands of likes and were shared widely on social media.

Filmmaker Karan Johar also took to social media to congratulate the couple and wished them happiness forever. He shared the pictures of the much-in-love duo and adding a twist to the loved-up post made fun of his singlehood. In the post, he wrote, "Love and happiness forever.....these are such a full of pyaar wala pictures! For those of us who don’t have a life partner, it’s a very “haiiiiiiiii” wala feeling!"

Talking about their two marriage ceremonies, the duo's Konkani wedding was an all-white affair with white rose mandap, and guests dressed in different shades of white, the Sindhi wedding was much in pink and red colours. Speaking of their attires, both the bride and the groom donned a Sabyasachi ensemble on their wedding day.

Several celebrities from the Bollywood fraternity including Alia Bhatt and the couple's 'Padmaavat' co-star Priyanka Chopra extended their greetings to the couple. The newlyweds will reportedly return to the country post wedding and will host their wedding reception both in Bangalore and Mumbai.
