Katrina Kaif always wanted to launch her own makeup brand

Katrina Kaif at the launch of her makeup brand, Kay By Katrina said that she had always wanted to start a beauty brand. She said that her inclination towards makeup comes from her modelling days. While speaking to the media during the launch of the makeup brand, she said that she has ample knowledge about makeup, since she was a model before switching her career to acting. She also said that she has experimented a lot with makeup and hence has a lot of experience.

Katrina Kaif said that she knows that beauty comes from within, but makeup only helps highlight that beauty. She was reportedly seen saying that she believes that every woman is unique in her own way and that uniqueness needs to be celebrated. She added that when a woman learns how to celebrate her own uniqueness that’s when she’s really beautiful. She also said that makeup is something you can have fun with and express your moods with. Makeup, according to Katrina, only highlights the features that a person loves and it enhances one's personality.

Katrina Kaif expressed her gratitude to the CEO of Nykaa Falguni Nayar and Reena Chhabra for turning her dream come into reality. She also said that Kay Beauty would not have happened without the two. In an Instagram post, it was revealed that it took two years for the project to go live. Katrina’s beauty brand Kay by Katrina received a thunderous response from the film fraternity. Many big stars of the Bollywood industry congratulated her for the launch of her brand and shared the promo video of her beauty brand. Katrina thanked the entire team of people who worked on the brand and also thanked her well-wishers.
