Katrina Kaif: Salman is a true friend with a solid personality

Katrina Kaif has always shared a bond with co-star and friend Salman Khan. The Bharat movie lead pair were even in an alleged relationship a few years ago. Katrina Kaif recently in an interview with a media portal opened up about her equation with Salman Khan and the changes in their relationship that happened in the past 16 years. Katrina was quoted saying that her equation with Salman Khan has changed majorly over the years. Salman and Katrina shared screen space for the first time in the film Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. Since then they have been seen a few other projects. Katrina further stated in the same interview that Salman is her true friend and somebody with a solid personality. She also added that Salman is always there for his friends. Although both of them have never publicly admitted their relationship, they allegedly broke up in 2009.

Since then both Katrina and Salman have shared a friendly equation. Katrina is also close to Salman’s family, especially his sisters Arpita Sharma and Alvira Khan Agnihotri. In another interview, she acknowledged that Arpita and Alvira are like her sisters. She further added that Salman’s family has kind of become her family and is fortunate to have their support. Katrina can be often seen at Salman’s family functions and spending time with his family.

Katrina and Salman’s upcoming projects

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan were last seen in the film Bharat. Salman is currently gearing for his big release this December, the third instalment of the Dabangg franchise Dabangg 3. He will be reprising his notorious cop role of Chulbul Pandey. Katrina Kaif will be next in Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar. The film has been directed by Rohit Shetty.
