Katrina Kaif is considered to be one of the most bankable stars in Bollywood. She has come a long way since her debut film Boom. Although Katrina Kaif is known for her great physique and hypnotic dance moves, she has never backed out from a project that will show her variation as an actor. Her dance songs are definitely chartbusters but here are some of her roles which managed to carve her mark in the industry. 1.  Raajneeti

Raajneeti was a career-defining role for Katrina Kaif. Katrina left no stone unturned for this role. Her character progressed from being a mere pawn in the family used as a part of a political alliance to heading the same political party. Katrina Kaif was present in a cast of seasoned actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Nana Patekar, Ajay Devgn, and even Ranbir Kapoor whose acting chops were the talk of the town. But she managed to leave an impression on the audience and the critics.

2.  Zero

Even though this Shah Rukh Khan starrer did not do well at the box-office Katrina Kaif's role as an alcoholic actress had the audience’s attention. Even the critics applauded Katrina’s performance in the film. Katrina Kaif even bagged the Zee Cine Award for the Best Supporting Actress for this role.

3.  New York

New York released in 2009. The revolves around three college friends whose lives change after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the US. Katrina Kaif plays the role of Maya Shaikh in the film. Her character transforms from a bubbly college kid to a woman who helps those affected by the 9/11 attacks. Even though the film did not do well at the box-office, Katrina Kaif proved that she can do more than just dancing in catchy songs and possesses the acting abilities to pull off serious roles.

4.  Namaste London

The critics and the audience agreed that this film is much better than the newest installment, Namaste England. Katrina Kaif was like a breath of fresh air in this film every time she was on the screen. Her role as Jazz who loves to go against the flow without a care in the world was a complementary accompaniment to the loud Punjabi character of Akshay Kumar.
