Kiara Advani begins shooting for Indoo Ki Jawani; looks revealed

Kiara Advani has reportedly started shooting for her upcoming film Indoo Ki Jawani. The actress who was last seen in Kabir Singh is currently in Lucknow for the shooting. She will be seen sharing the screen space with Student of the Year 2 star Aditya Seal and Malika Dua. First look of the actress from the film Indoo Ki Jawani has been revealed online.

Kiara is seen wearing a yellow t-shirt and a patterned salwar in the picture. She is seen sitting crossed-legged on a wooden chair. It had been previously revealed that Kiara Advani will play the role of Indoo, who is from Ghaziabad. Indoo tries to find love on dating apps by swiping left and right, but instead finds herself in a hilarious situation. In an interview with a leading news daily, Kiara had said that Indoo is an endearing, edgy and a lovable girl, much like every other young girl in India.

As Indoo is from Ghaziabad, she has a different accent to her speech. It has been reported by a leading news daily that Kiara Advani had started prepping for the movie since she signed the film. She is taking workshops for her pronunciations and dictions and that she is learning about the body language and mannerisms of the women in the city as well. A media house quoted Kiara Advani saying that she has never been on the dating apps, but she has heard hilarious stories from her friends. She allegedly said that Indoo Ki Jawani is going to be much more entertaining than the stories her friends have told her. Aditya Seal, however, reportedly stated that he has been on Tinder, an online dating app, previously, and he supposedly said that he felt like a bait of meat on the app and uninstalled it within a few days.

Indoo Ki Jawani is directed by Abir Sengupta, who released a picture of Kiara Advani and himself holding a movie clap with the film’s name on it. He stated that the shooting of the film has begun. The movie is produced by T-Series, Emmay Entertainment and Electric Apples. Indoo Ki Jawani is slated to hit the theatres on June 5, 2020.
