Kiara Advani resumes shooting in Lucknow for Indoo Ki Jawani

Kiara Advani was last seen in the blockbuster movie, Kabir Singh, alongside Shahid Kapoor. The actor received unanimous praise for her performance by critics, the film fraternity and audience alike. Right now she is reportedly busy with her upcoming projects, one of which is Indoo Ki Jawani.

According to reports, Kiara Advani has gone back to Lucknow to resume shooting for Indoo Ki Jawani. Lucknow seems to be the location of the second schedule of the film. She had already started shooting for the film earlier this month. However, she had to leave to shoot for a dance number for another one of her upcoming movies, Good Newwz.

Kiara Advani will be pairing up with Aditya Seal, who debuted in Student of the Year 2, for the first time in Indoo Ki Jawani. Kiara will reportedly play a small-town bubbly girl who wishes to explore love with the help of dating apps. Kiara has reportedly said that her character in Indoo Ki Jawani is an “edgy, lovable and quirky” character. She had to attend a lot of workshops to get her dialect correct.

Indoo Ki Jawani is slated to be a romantic comedy. It is being directed by Abir Sengupta who had earlier directed a regional Bengali movie, Jomer Raja Dilo Bor. It is being bankrolled by Nikkhil Advani, Niranjan Iyenger and Ryan Stephen. Initially slated to release on New Year’s 2020, the movie has been postponed to June 5, 2020.

Both Kiara Advani and Aditya Seal were asked in a recent press interview about their experience of dating apps. Kiara reportedly confessed that while she has never been on these apps, she has heard bizarre stories from her friends. Aditya, on the other hand, reportedly said that he felt like “bait of fresh meat” when he joined Tinder, which is an online dating app. He deleted the app after a few days.

Kiara Advani’s upcoming movies

Currently riding on the success of Kabir Singh, Kiara Advani seems to have her kitty full for the time being. She will next be seen in Good Newwz which also casts Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh. The movie is slated to release on December 27. She will also star in Guilty, Laxmmi Bomb, SherShaah and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
