Koffee with Karan season 6 | Did Prabhas hint that Karan Johar started the rumour of him dating his ‘Baahubali’ co-star Anushka Shetty?

Prabhas has been termed as one of the most eligible bachelors in the film industry post the massive success of the ‘Baahubali’ franchise. Rumours of him receiving 6000 marriage proposals and his wedding to an engineer made headlines before, but it is his link-up with ‘Baahubali’ co-star Anushka Shetty that has kept the gossip mills abuzz for the longest time.

And it’s obvious that when he comes on ‘Koffee with Karan’, he will be quizzed about the rumoured affair. The actor was a guest on the show along with his ‘Baahubali’ team members, co-star Rana Daggubati and director SS Rajamouli.  

The promos of the episode which is to air on Sunday have been released and in one of them, when the filmmaker asks Rana and Prabhas if they are single, both of them nodded in agreement. 

Not one to leave celebrities without probing further, we also see Karan asking Prabhas, “You are not dating anyone, Prabhas? So all these rumours of you dating Anushka were true or not true?” The actor just said, “You started” and burst out laughing. KJo is also seen getting shocked with his reaction. 

Though it seems that Prabhas is hinting that the director started the rumour, the exact nature of the comment will only be clearer when the episode is aired next week.

Prabhas and Anushka have time and again clarified that they are just good friend and rumours of a link-up or marriage were not true.
