He has carved an impressive niche for himself in the industry through films like Kalyug, Traffic Signal, Blood Money, and Superstar. The actor also appeared in many acclaimed films like Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Raja Hindustani, and Aazmayish as a child artiste. However, Kunal Kemmu has also appeared in many well-known comedy films.

The Golmaal Franchise

Kunal Kemmu is one of the ensemble cast in this popular comedy franchise. These Rohit Shetty directorial saw Kunal Kemmu showcase his impeccable comic timing. With every Golmaal film, the viewers could see Kunal effortlessly match up to his co-actors like Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, and Shreyas Talpade. While all the different Golmaal cast members had something unique to offer to the franchise, Kunal Kemmu's hilarious punchlines became a huge hit amongst the viewers. The Golmaal franchise is undoubtedly one of his best comedy films, and the films' ratings reflect this. The film made a whopping box office collection of Rs 311 crores which also made it one of Kunal Kemmu's biggest hits. 

Go Goa Gone

This film was lauded for its unique concept and performance. The film revolved around a group of friends who are attacked by a group of zombies on an island. Kunal Kemmu was appreciated for his performance in the film. The film also starred Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. Kunal Kemmu showcased an impressive performance along with his comic timing is on point. His chemistry with Puja Gupta was also appreciated in the film. The film also managed to be a box office hit as it garnered a total Rs 382 million at the box office including the overseas collection and also surpassed its budget which was Rs 190 million. 

Dhol

This film is still considered by fans to be one of the best comedy films of all time. Kunal Kemmu starred opposite actors like Sharman Joshi and Tusshar Kapoor, but the actor managed to stand out with his performance in the film. The movie was helmed by ace filmmaker Priyadarshan. The film also Kunal Kemmu taking a versatile foray into the comedy genre from his previous serious films like Kalyug and Traffic Signal. Made with a budget of 30 crores, Dhol banked heavily on its performances and story, thus acquiring favourable box office numbers of Rs 47 crores reportedly. This still remains one of the most successful films of Kunal Kemmu. 

Dhoondte Reh Jaoge

Even though the film tanked at the box office, it was appreciated for its performances. The film starred Kunal Kemmu alongside Paresh Rawal and Sonu Sood. He was also seen opposite his off-screen wife Soha Ali Khan in the film. Kunal's acting in the film was much appreciated by the critics despite the film not doing well at the box office. Kunal Kemmu's dialogues and comic timing were impeccable and his chemistry with Soha Ali Khan was reflected on-screen too. However, even with the favourable performances by Kunal Kemmu and the other cast members, the film did not strike gold at the box office and acquired only Rs 12 crores including the overseas collection.

Kunal Kemmu was recently seen in the web series, Abhay. He played an investigating officer who could go any length to solve a case while also battling his inner demons. Kunal Kemmu was also seen in the film, Kalank. The actor's performance as the main antagonist was much appreciated by the critics.
