Sonakshi Sinha was recently seen in the film, Mission Mangal wherein her performance was well received by the masses. The film also starred Akshay Kumar in the lead role and proved to be a box office success. Now, the actor has managed to grab the attention of the masses again because of her mysterious and cryptic role in the film Laal Kaptaan. The makers of the film recently revealed her character from the film, named Noor Bai. However, not much has been revealed about the actor's role in the movie.

Sonakshi Sinha will be essaying the role of a mystery woman, Noor Bai in Laal Kaptaan

Sonakshi Sinha's first look from the film saw her clad in red attire with her face covered with a veil. Her look is indeed intriguing and has left the viewers wanting for more. The film, Laal Kaptaan stars Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. The makers have released the second trailer of the movie which gives us a little more insight into Sonakshi Sinha's character. The trailer shows Saif Ali Khan as the Naga Sadhu seeking Sonakshi Sinha's help in his quest for revenge. This intense trailer has further raised the anticipation for the film.

Sonakshi Sinha's character will reportedly be an ally of Saif Ali Khan

According to media reports, Sonakshi Sinha as Noor Bai will be essaying Saif Ali Khan's ally in the film. Sonakshi Sinha and Saif Ali Khan had earlier shared the screen space in the film Bullet Raja. The film Laal Kaptaan is helmed by Navdeep Singh. The director had also revealed about Sonakshi's role in the film earlier. He said that the actor will be having a special appearance in the film but her character will have a pivotal role to play in the storyline. The filmmaker went on to say that he needed someone with an appeal and star quality to fit in for the role. Navdeep Singh added that he thought Sonakshi was perfect for the role but the director did not reveal further details about her character from the film. However, he added that Sonakshi Sinha as Noor Bai will be the most glamorous element in the film.
