Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan upcoming film Luka Chuppi's fourth song is out — Tu Laung Main Elaachi, and netizens have something to say!

A rehashed version of Popular Punjabi wedding song 'Tu Laung Main Laachi' starring Neeru Bajwa and Ammy Virk was released by the makers of 'Luka Chuppi' and looks like the originality took a dive. The track stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon.

Sung by Tulsi Kumar, the track is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and the lyrics are modified and penned by Kunaal Vermaa. This is not the first song from 'Luka Chuppi' that has been rehashed. The song, 'Photo' is also borrowed from singer Karan Sehmbi’s Punjabi hit. The new song has been rendered by Karan himself but the lyrics have been changed from Punjabi to Hindi. This doesn't end here, the other two songs 'Poster Lagwa Do' — a rehash of a song from Akshay Kumar’s film 'Aflatoon', and 'Coca Cola' — version of Tony Kakkar's song is remixed too.

While the storyline is fresh and quirky, the makers decided to go for remakes for their playlist. A good move or a bad one? Here's what the audience says:

Subhradipta Deb commented: "Punjabi version is far far better"

Kundan Pandey wrote on YouTube: "T-series why are you ruining every old songs. All songs of this movie is remake and ruined. Originals are far better than remakes. Please be creative and make original songs instead of ruining old songs."

Anjali Juyal wrote: "Really gaane ki value bilkul khtam kar diii hai chi chi.....chor director and team sab inhone dusre gane chura k yaha dale hai is movie mei..."

Increasing the business of a movie through such marketing techniques or keeping the originality in place with fresh music — priority needs to be in place. Too much of something is also bad. Don't you think?

Talking about the film, the story revolves around Kartik and Kriti — two people in love but wants to try the concept of live-in relationship. But this is a different kind! The twist in the story begins when Kartik's family starts living with the couple.

Luka Chuppi is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film also features Vinay Pathak, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana and is slated to release on March 1, 2019.
