Ever since actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor appeared together at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding in May 2018, rumours of their relationship surfaced. From there on the two were spotted together on several occasions. The two, however, refused to make their relationship official in public. However, Alia has always evaded all the questions related to her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. Not too long ago, the two were spotted spending some quality time with Alia Bhatt's father, Mahesh Bhatt at their Mumbai pad. At a press conference in Delhi, the filmmaker while talking about his daughter's wedding, neither denied nor confirmed reports about Alia and Ranbir’s relationship. He said that he has never spoken about his children's private lives. He added that they are adults and it is their prerogative. The filmmaker also said that he would never demean or belittle his children's personal lives by talking about them in public. He further added that it is up to them whether they want to talk about their personal relationships or remain silent about it. He said that they respect what they do with their life.
