It's been a while since actress Kangana Ranaut and her sister slammed Alia Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan on social media and on public platforms for various reasons including former's British citizenship, staying away from politics or her 'Gully Boy' performance. The war of words only intensified with every passing day.

On Tuesday, when the Bhatt family attended the screening of the film 'Yours Truly', filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt spoke to the media and commented on Kangana and Rangoli Chandel's attacks. He told reporters: "She is a ‘bachchi’, started her journey with us. Just because her relative is attacking me, I won’t comment. Our upbringing and culture teach us that we should not raise a finger on our children. So saying anything against our children won’t be possible. My upbringing stops me to do so. Till I die, I will never ever say anything against our child because it is against my upbringing, it is against my nature.” [sic]

At an event recently, Alia told reporters, "If I am like this, then my family is ten times more mature and stronger than I am. I don't want to get into this. I want to be happy, positive, work hard and be a better version of myself everyday. "I should not pay attention to what people say or don't say. Everybody has the right to say what they want to. I will be quiet, that's my stand."

Irked at her silence, Rangoli took a dig at Alia and father Mahesh Bhatt. She wrote: "I really hope you go quiet darling, you and papa Jo have milked enough backhand PR from this, please take a seat now.... 🙏"

She further said: "People arnt stupid, they see who stands alone and where is gang of movie mafia, in this time and age honesty and transparency is most valued so keep your medieval age ‘ Main chup rahoongi’ sob story to yourself, no need to make this viral everyday... 🤚🏼"
