The trailer of Vipul Amrutlal Shah's 'Namaste England' is out and you'll find hints of its prequel 'Namaste London' starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Brimming with festivities and hues of happiness the 3-minute clip runs you through Param (played by Arjun Kapoor) and Jasmeet's (played by Parineeti Chopra) love story.

The 'Ishaqzaade' jodi was quite a hit with their debut venture and now looks like they have taken it a notch higher with this installment. The trailer begins with a shot that might remind you of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela'. A scene from the film's Holi celebration has caught on and this one comes really close to it.

Punjab has been an overpowering factor in the previous film and this one too retains the Punjabi flavour. Call it their rapport or the chemistry it is what lights the screen. The colours the festivities makes everything come to life. Togetherness to distance the trailer binds all of it in this glimpse of the film. There's drama for sure, we also saw glimpses of love, separation and reconciling, and if that's all that is there in the film, then we've seen it already. But if there's different a take on this Bollywood love story, then that's what we are looking forward to.

From the looks of it Parineeti's character seems rebellious, a woman who stands for herself and strives to get her way through against the norms set by the society. Arjun comes across as an understanding person, who will leave everything around him to be with his love. It's not only East versus West, but a journey that she embarks on for empowerment to set herself free, while the hero dwells in his love and can turn things around to make ends meet. And just like the trailer states, 'some stories live forever'.

Also a sequel a film has to face the pressure of being compared with its previous installment. And when it is a film like 'Namaste London' then that sure doubles up the expectation both by critics and the audience. Considering that standard the trailer has been disappointing to many.
