Not just ‘Takht’, Ranveer Singh and Janhvi Kapoor have this thing in common too

A celebrity repeating one’s outfit or two celebrities wearing the same dress are often considered undesirable in the industry’s fashion circles, with even Instagram handles attaining popularity for spotting such instances. Nowadays, when such ‘repititions’ occur, ‘who wore it better?’ stories also surface. While such instances often occur with two or more persons of the same gender, Ranveer Singh and Janhvi Kapoor turned out to wear the same outfit in consecutive days.

On Monday evening, Janhvi stepped out wearing a purple jumper with red print to meet her half-brother Arjun Kapoor at his residence in Mumbai’s Juhu.

Few hours later, Ranveer was spotted in the same sweatshirt, on Tuesday afternoon, also incidentally in Juhu.

While it’s obviously possible for two people to have the same outfit, the common person between the two is Arjun. Ranveer and Arjun, apart from working in ‘Gunday’, are known to be extremely close and their bonding, which involves calling each other ‘baba’ is well-known. It could be possible that Arjun might have gifted the same sweatshirts to the two or it's just plain coincidence.    

Nevertheless, Ranveer and Janhvi are also to work together in Karan Johar’s ambitious ‘Takht.' The duo had also bonded at a fashion event few weeks ago. They might feel it’s good to share something else in common too.
