The #MeToo campaign that has ignited in India has given women the strength and courage to speak up against sexual perpetrators. In the wake of the campaign names of several popular Bollywood artists including directors, actors and producers have surfaced. Director Sajid Khan too has been accused of sexual misconduct by a journalist.
Reacting to the allegations, the 'Aisha' actress Amrita Puri took to Twitter and said "It was fairly well known that @SimplySajidK is a creep and is completely inappropriate as far as his conduct with women goes. I was warned to stay away from him if I ever came across him. I refuse to believe that it has come as a surprise to ppl from the industry or his family."
Here's the tweet!
On Thursday, a journalist accused the director of ‘Housefull 4’,Sajid Khan of sexual harassment. In a post on Twitter, she said, “ Thru the interview he talked about how large his p**** is & how he knew how to satisfy a woman. I ignored his trash talk & got back on track w/ my interview. He walked out of the room to show me some DVD from his collection. When he returned, his p**** was out. I got up to leave immediately only to find him blocking the way out. And, he forced his tongue down my throat. I pushed him away and ran out."
The journalist further went on to narrate yet another incident with Sajid Khan that left her humiliated. In her second meeting with the director she had allegedly warned him of behaving himself.
