#MeToo| Vikas Bahl's Ex-Wife Richa Dubey Defends The Director, Lashes Out At Kangana Ranaut

With various sexual harassment allegations on eminent personalities from the Bollywood fraternity one can say that the #MeToo movement has reached Bollywood.  Following the back-to-back accusations against celebrities, the latest one that is gaining momentum are the allegations on the 'Queen director' Vikas Bahl.

With various sexual harassment allegations on eminent personalities from the Bollywood fraternity such as Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl and Nana Patekar, one can say that the #MeToo movement has reached the Hindi film industry. In the wake of the 'Me Too' movement that had earlier taken Hollywood by storm, former actress Tanushree Dutta accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment. Tanushree's fight for justice has now taken a legal turn. Meanwhile, Dutta's brave step has now pushed several victims to share their stories. Several big-wigs from the entertainment industry have been named and shamed. The age of social media has left no stone unturned in shaming all those accused of sexual harassment.  Following the back-to-back accusations against celebrities, the latest one that is gaining momentum are the allegations on the 'Queen director' Vikas Bahl. In the latest turn of the events, the director's ex-wife Richa Dubey has come in support of the director and has lashed out at Kangana Ranaut for her claims of misconduct against Vikas

Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, Dubey posted a two-page document picking out 9 'loopholes' in Kangana Ranaut's statement against Vikas Bahl, thus questioning her authenticity.

Apart from the Bollywood bigwigs, renowned writer Chetan Bhagat has been accused of sexual misconduct by an anonymous victim after she shared screenshots of her chat with the author. While Alok Nath has been accused of rape by popular 90's show 'Tara' producer Vinta Nanda. In a detailed post on Facebook, she also mentioned that Alok Nath was an alcoholic, and accused him of allegedly being inappropriate with the lead actress of the show, Navneet Nishan.

Several Bollywood A-listers have spoken out in support of all those victims of sexual misconduct. From Priyanka Chopra, Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, Twinkle Khanna, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, Sophie Chaudhary, to Farhan Akhtar, and others are supporting all those raising their voice against this practice.
