Pagalpanti: Audience to see a totally different John this time

John Abraham will be seen in the comedy film Pagalpanti, switching gears from cop dramas and vigilante action movies. The actor told a media publication that he has tried his best to develop in the genre. Pagalpanti stars Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Urvashi Rautela, and Saurabh Shukla as an ensemble cast.

Audience will see a different john in Pagalpanti says, John Abraham

The last time he did his comedy was in Welcome Back. In Pagalpanti, the audience will see a different John after looking at his body language and demeanour. There will be a noticeable change, John said. Reportedly, John said that his director believed he has actually grown in the genre and felt that if he could make individuals laugh, then his work is done.

Throughout his career, he has attempted to enhance his performance in the comedy genre. That is what he was told by his director, he said. He thinks improving is very crucial. Cinema is about entertainment, and if by having people laugh he can do compelling work, it is credible. He is enthusiastic about the movie, he added.

Anees Bazmee, who directed some of the most commercially successful comedy movies like Singh Is Kingg, Welcome and Ready, is prepared with another film of the same genre called Pagalpanti. The film marks John, Anil, and Anees reunion. These three had earlier collaborated for Welcome Back together in 2016. It is going to be the second effort of Anees Bazmee and John Abraham together. Mubarakan, Welcome Back, No Problem, Welcome, and No entry were the past movies of Anil and Anees together. T-Series, Panorama Studios and Aditya Chowksey and Sanjeev Joshi Co-produced the film. The film is scheduled to release on November 8, 2019.
