The movie Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass is Sunny’s directorial debut in Bollywood. The movie released along with Sanjay Dutt’s Prassthanam and Sonam Kapoor’s The Zoya Factor. Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas had a slow opening with just ₹ 1.2 Crore collection on the first day. The collection has been better, after the first weekend. The movie’s box office collection for Saturday is ₹ 1.55 Crores. The collection for Sunday is ₹ 1.85 Crores. The total weekend collection for the movie is ₹ 4.60 Crores.

The Karan Deol starrer is doing way better than its competitors. Prassthanam’s total weekend collection is ₹ 2.95 Crores. The Zoya Factor is at the bottom of the list with After the first-weekend ₹ 2.30 Crores. Film trade analyst and critic Sumit Kadel tweeted about the progression of the movies at the box office.

YouTube stars Ashish Chanchlani and Akash Dodeja did an interview with the cast of Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas before the release of the movie. The two actors Karan and Sahher had a candid conversation with Ashish and was later joined by Sunny Deol. Sunny tweeted about the interview:

Critics praised Sahher's performance while they claimed that Karan will need more time to prepare himself to become a Bollywood hero. The movie is about the romance between two youngsters who fall in love while on an adventure through the mountains.
