Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat is all set to hit the screens on December 6, 2019. The director is known to have well-detailed sets for all his films. With this being a well-known fact, it did not come as a surprise when he created special sets for Panipat.
Ashutosh Gowariker built a new set for Panipat
On Ashutosh’s social media, he shared pictures from the area where the set was supposed to be built. The picture was from a ceremony that was done before the construction of the set began.

He reportedly marked ND Studios to build the set. The set was a recreation of the famous Shaniwar Wada, the throne of the Peshwas, and was done by Art Director, Nitin Desai. Ashutosh also shared multiple pictures and videos on the official social media page of his production house. Here are a few of them.

Panipat stars Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. It is a historical film based on the third battle of Panipat. Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Sadashiv Bhau, who was the Commander in Chief of the Maratha Army during the battle. Kriti Sanon will play Arjun’s wife, Parvati Bai while Sanjay Dutt will play the antagonist, Ahmad Shah Abdali. The music for the film is composed by the national award-winning duo of Ajay-Atul.
