Panipat: Kriti Sanon as Parvati Bai gives Priyanka Chopra vibes

Panipat movie stars Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. Kriti Sanon and Zoya Hussain will also be a part of this film and given that the trailer will be releasing tommorow, the first look of Kriti Sanon as Parvati Bai was unveiled! Looking at it, one can say that the actress looks quite majestic as Parvati Bai. She can be seen dressed in a traditional attire donning the authentic nath worn by the Peshwa family. For the uninitiated, she was the second wife of Sadashivrao Bhau that will be played by Arjun Kapoor in the film. While fans and netizens loved her first look from the film, there were many who felt that she was giving off major Priyanka Chopra vibes. The latter was also seen donning a similar look for her film Bajirao Mastani with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone

Kriti Sanon's first look as Parvati Bai: 

Speaking about the film, Sanon to a news agency had said, " It is a great story that needs to be told. I like the character of Parvati Bai, especially the way Ashu sir has written it. It did attract me as I have never done something like this before. I was initially confused like how come he thought of me to play this Marathi girl because I am a North Indian, Punjabi" 

Before Kriti, Sanjay Dutt's look from the film was also revealed. Sanjay Dutt can be seen donning a heavy military gear all prepared for battle! Playing Ahmad Shah Abdali, the actor looks quite fierce and intense!

The story of Panipat essays one of the most historic battles that happened between the Marathas and the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali. Sanjay Dutt will be playing the character of Ahmad Shah Abdali. Arjun Kapoor will portray the role of Sadashiv Rao Bhau in the film.
