3 things you need to know
In an interview with Radio Nasha, Parineeti Chopra was asked about the film that she thinks deserved more love and appreciation than it got. The actress cited Meri Pyaari Bindu as an example of such a film. Released in 2017, Meri Pyaari Bindu starred Ayushmann Khurrana along with the actress. The film received an underwhelming response at the box office.

Parineeti Chopra opined that ‘every film gets its own life somehow’. She added that whether good or bad, all movies are noticed by the audience sooner or later. She continued, “There are some films that will not do well at the box office. But for years, people will watch it and it’ll become a cult film. On the other hand, there are films that do really well because they came at the right time, but were probably not the best piece of cinema.”. She then cited Meri Pyaari Bindu as an example for the same.
Parineeti recalled that Meri Pyaari Bindu was released alongside Baahubali and so did not gain much success at the box office. She continued, “ But that’s the film that I get the most love for today. And that’s what matters. There are many films like this that don’t make the numbers at that time, but they always find you.”
In the same interview, the actress shared how people connect the reel and real personalities of actors. She mentioned, “It’s crazy. After I did some small-town role, people started coming up to me and saying ‘Oh, you speak English? You know how to speak English?’ I felt that was bizarre. How would you assume that I don’t speak English?”
