Ranveer Singh is among the most fan-friendly actors without a doubt, but you don’t quite see him interacting with them on Twitter like some of the other stars like Shah Rukh Khan are known to indulge in regularly. With ‘Simmba’ gearing up for release, the actor gave fans this opportunity to interact with the hashtag  ‘AskSimmba’.

The hashtag immediately went to the top of the Twitter trends as numerous questions and comments started pouring in. While most of the queries were based on ‘Simmba’, fans also expressed their excitement for his next film after that, ‘Gully Boy’.

But many were keener to know more about him personally and asked him questions about his food habits.

The ‘pineapple on pizza’ debate is among those that have been going on for a long time and perhaps has left an equal number of people on both sides. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson have been among those who have taken sides on the debate and a user was keen to know which side Ranveer is on. The actor wrote in capital letters ‘NAY’ and that says it all about his dislike for the topping on one of the world’s most popular food items.

Ranveer also revealed his favourite dessert, the topmost being Nutella, a known fact among his fans and his birthday cake early this year was also made up of it. His other favourites were Milk Cake and Mille-feuille, a type of French pastry. The actor seems to have a sweet tooth as he also wrote, ‘Don’t get me started.’

The ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ star also didn’t have any apprehensions on sharing he is ‘podgy’ at the moment because he’s been hogging on chocolates and Chinese food. He blamed the promotions of the film for it, saying how the eating and sleeping habits go for a toss during this phase and because he’s enjoying the ‘festive spirit’ right now. However, he promised to get back to ‘hardcore training’ and dieting in January.

Ranveer also chose food from his own culture, home-made Sindhi curry when asked to choose between Delhi’s bread pakoda, a food item his character in his debut ‘Band Baaja Baraat is fond of, and Maharashtra’s poha.
